Hello. I have recently, with sage tutelage from Unicorn 1, replaced my oiler on my 026 and have a 16 inch bar. I am presently using a ratio of 1:1 for petrol mix and bar oil. Is this a bit much on the oil consumption rate? Please advise.

P.S. Be it known that UNICORN 1 has blessed me with an authentic, somewhat used FHC coffee cup for joining the FHC family.

    Thanks

    Welcome aboard

Oil use sounds fine to me. Too much is better than too little. I wish my 291 would use oil like that

Welcome to the Forum, sorry I wasn't around to finish the oil pump replacement.

That prestige, premium, brand new FHC coffee was still triple wrapped in bubble wrap.:picard:

1 tank of fuel to 1 tank of oil is just right. That is a short bar, but as bigbarf48 mentioned, on the heavy side is always preferable to the light side.

Yep. Some say they get 2:1, but more oil is more gooder! :)
