Pellet heads!! What's up today?

Picked up the xmas tree, added some more insulation to the outside of the foundation, and put the outside lights up today. Couldn't ask for much better weather on the 30th of November. A bit breezy for my taste, but it was nice to not freeze my rear off hanging up the lights.

Same here. Last day of vacation, and not looking forward to it ending abruptly tomorrow AM . It hit almost 50 degrees here today, and the overnight low is supposed to be 43. Stove has been off for most of the day and prob won't light it until just before bed tonight.

 

Was supposed to be sunny today with a high in the mid 40's. Never cleared and the high was in the mid 30's.

 

Not good outside at all. Was very slippery this AM. We out to visit my son this evening. Had to be careful not to slip.

 

Nice day today, homemade turkey potpie made with leftovers, as well as stuffing. Thanksgiving is not over yet lol!

 

Something is not right. Yesterday I was out chopping leaves in a short sleeve shirt, it was 65 degrees. The temp dropped that night and the the rain and sleet came in and now we have a ice warning. I do not understand.

 

Where I am that is called good old fashioned Maine weather if you don't like it right now wait a minute it will change, rinse, repeat.

 

My grandkids always seem to be able to have a good time.

I think the weather is turning again. My bones ache worse today.

 

Crud is on the way Larry, along with ups and downs in the temperature. Maybe a good storm for the weekend.

 

Yes indeed it is. May not make my veteran's meeting tomorrow unless the roads are at least decent.

 

Been on strike for a week now. Freezing my butt by the fireside. Retirement somewhat delayed which I was aiming on X-mas day. Temperatures all over the place, snow, rain, freezing. Fahrenheit furnace yet to be installed. The making of life in my end of the world. Spirit is still holding up, there's still brew in the fridge and the pellet stash is holding up against the weather monster. Enough ranting........

 

Well I wonder if Larry made it off his estate today.

I made it down to the mail box and back using my creepers. Someone went off the road I think, as two firetrucks, ambulance, and sheriff's department were out front of the house.

No babysitting duty today, everyone else stayed home.

Now we have fog and it isn't going to get as warm as they thought it would get today. Oh well this is Maine.

 

Snow and Ice last night!!! Cranked up the Vermont's and opened a bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Ordered Sam Adams White Christmas for the store. Will be in Thursday EVE. Get that TT??

Heat wave?

 

Well at 42,less than 5mph wind,mostly sun and a cabin facing south,there was no heat running for 5 hours today!Makes me happy enough to have a beer today and gave me a chance to clean stove.
