Winter safety gear, Who has it in the vehicle?

    I have the LED light that clips to my hat , red & white light
    Use it for many things thru winter & while camping.

    We have a Gerber (Leatherman) in all 3 of our vehicles. All three are also stashed with multiple pairs of gloves and disposable pocket warmers. I used to carry a presorted emergency kit. Not sure what happened to them but they always seemed to be in the way and never got used over decades. There's always blankets in there too, between the dogs and the lil one.

    My best safty gear is: Stay home. Keep the car in the garage.
    Forcast is for a quarter inch of ice tomorrow following 3 inches of snow.
    Just another excuse to loose power. Odd, we have lived here about 40 years. Aside from the ice storm in '98, there seems to be a trend of more frequent power outages. I see the tree service out trimming a lot, but still the limbs take out the power lines. The power outages last for a longer time also
