Sweet. It's nice to have stuff laying around that you can get whenever you want. How many years ahead are you?

Maybe one or two :-( lot of it got pushed back in the ditch or burned for more room to plant crops. There was 5 or so people cutting wood out of those piles also.

I had air bags installed on my truck and I was never happy with the work they did - really not happy now since the passenger side one has moved. Gonna put in up on the neighbors lift next weekend and disassemble/reassemble myself so it's right.

Is it an installation issue or are you just not happy with the system? Considering bagging my '13 Silverado 1/2 ton.

System is fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone that does a lot of towing. My issue is strictly the installation. It has a heat shield on the passenger side for the powerstroke exhaust that has moved and I can now see the bag isn't seeded properly on top. Gonna fix it today when I get home from work.

Looks like Fayette County???,,,and a real nice place to score firewood!!
The ground has been too soft for me to get out and work up any firewood or the workhouse schedule has interfered,,

I used quite a bit of chains out there on the piles. Some was really bad and some had just a little on it.

Yep..you were right. Fayette county. Those were last year and you are right the ground needs to freeze up so I can get into a few other fields and get more cut. You know you can never have enough firewood :)

Nice thread and thank you for sharing your pictures of your trucks hauling wood. I'd like to get a truck in the near future, but I am not sure if that will happen on my time table. Some of you have larger trucks, flat beds, and some dump trucks. My desire is to get myself a Ford F250 Power Stroke or maybe a Dodge RAM 2500 with a Cummings. Now I don't want to start the age old argument of which is better. For larger loads it appears that a trailer would be better option for accomplishing large loads. Maybe even one with a dump body. http://www.bri-mar.com/trailers/dt510lp-5/

You're not gonna go wrong with either one. I like ford trucks so that's what I have, but I've driven the dodge and Chevy diesels and they were sweet too. They're all good trucks. And yes, a trailer makes it a lot easier and more productive.
