little bit of tread depth there. I wonder about longevity.

Must be on the blazer? Where'd ya get em? What size? How much? If you don't mind me asking. They look great and I'm in the market for tires on my GMC.

There from treadwright.com there retreads. They make them in several patterns. DexterDay has had some on his f150 for about a year and another member put some on his truck here a week ago and has a review of them as well. He got a bad one that they are warenteing. Were waiting to hear back from him. I cant remember his name...I'll post it when I find it.

Edit: yooperdave is the other member that just installed these, and the one that had a bad tire that need replacing.

Mine were 315/75/17's. Which are a 35" tire. But they were about $800 delivered.

I have the Goodyear MTR pattern. Or the Guard Dogs as they call them..

Yes I bought treadwrights pyro. Right now they have free shipping..... Mine are 235/75/15 all terrains and ride better than the wrangled garbage I have traditionally installed on my Blazer. In fact they ride better than the Coopers did a few years back. If I am not mistaken these are not glued treads like others they are stamped treads. They wrap the rubber like a rope all the way around then press the tread into them. Regardless whatever they do works. They cost me $69 a piece at the time which is around $100 cheaper for the same c class tire. It's made for more weight and has 6 plyes instead of the standard 4 plyes.

Now for the experience part. I have a couple farmers near me that use them exclusively on their farm trucks and they get a beating. One has 40,000 plus on them and they look new aside from a small amount of tread loss! Easily another 40,000 in them yet. I also found out our local storm tracker uses them on their suv and they too look new after 3 years. That got me to researching and I found out that they are very highly rated in the off road world too. I read some bad reviews on them however most where other causes if you know anything about cars.... Considering the $400 we saved and the quality I am very happy! You can buy cheap China tires these days too that are pretty well rated but I wanted to buy USA and they are a Texas company. Another factor no retread is like their rep these days they are very well made. Not like the old days.... They have strict govt. Regs.

They have a liquid rubber vulcanizing process from reading about them. Yes I see free shipping through dec 7.

I would love to buy a pair just nothing in my size.

When you google treadwright problems I think I got like 5-6 returns. The first one was a date stamp plate the guy saw on the sidewall where the rubber tore around the id plate when removed. I could tell in the pic thats what it was from the get go and TW said it was fine...rubber is paper tin in that section and it never contacts the road.

For any tire to only have that few google hits on the first page before it went into random links at the bottom is saying g something good!

Been running great the last 3 months.

After the intake it still had a misfire. I was about to take it into a different shop, when I lifted the hood just to have a look.... There it was, a coil pack unplugged..

Since that day this Summer, it's been running great (knock on wood). I want another new truck, but can't stand to bring myself to do it..

Buy a truck and go on a budget, or keep my current spending habits? . :D lol
