    Hickory is a good test. Primo wood too :)

    I like the 20" bar too, like you said, less bending, better reach,
    makes it easier on the back :)
    You running the 3/8" x .050 x 72DL , Full chisel ?

    Stihl RS 3/8"x.050x 72 DL.
    It pulled the 20" in that stuff just fine an I am happy both saw take the same chain. Makes it easier on the pocket book along with the back. Lol
