    I hate the new one... Still owe on it, less power (same motor but with the 4cyl cutout crap, less gearing) less MPG. much nicer trim with leather and stuff, but I miss ole red. Clifford was probably the best vehicle i've ever had. 298K maintenance only. wish I woulda kept it.

    Owned a few 084 166 3120. Only used them for ripping big ends into quarters (4 sections) for firewood cutters to manageable pieces to buck up.

    Out of 9 total 3 were racesaws = 1 166 was racesaw, 1 084 racesaw, 1 3120 racesaw. 5 084, 2 166, 2 3120.

    Must have the 4 spd in your '08. I have virtually the same truck but it's a '13 and has the 6 spd. I love it. Best thing GM has done for power trains in their half tons since introducing the LS series engines.

    yeah its a 2008, 4 speed with 3.42's. the 99 was a 4L60E with 3.73's. night and day difference, but the 99 was a factory freak, it raped on everything it ran against.
