    Agreed on all points, Scripture has all the answers if you seek hard enough. I was not raised on a farm but worked on several growing up, puts a good work ethic into you. I supplied most of the wood for a gentleman from church for 2 years after his heart surgery and just felt right. Carry on brother, one foot in front of the other as you can.

    It's only a couple of hours away for raybonz and I. I think that would be a nice trip for a beer. I'll have to put another bug in Lorins ear.

    Ya, do that. I haven't talked to her for a long time now. Way too long.

    With that, I'm saying good night to all.

    Nuf crying in your beer. Getting way to sad.
    Shake off the dust & get out there & cut some wood.

    I see a G2G at Sav's place in the future

    Better prep & start getting your management skills honed up, Dennis
    else you end up with 12" to 24" length rounds & a bare 20 acres LOL :)

    I've met Darrin Dennis and he's a great guy! I am sure we'd all get along famously! We need to get Darrin to get a room too so we can all go out to dinner..

    If I were you Dennis I would just round up some help and get it over with in a hurry, better for you and the other guy.
    Getting old is not for the faint of heart.

    [QUOTE="

    In addition to the parable you refer to, that same book also says something like this: Inasmuch as you do it unto the least of these, you have done unto me. It was also said that you should love your neighbor as yourself. Not a little bit, but the same as you love yourself. No, we'll continue to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.[/QUOTE]

    I wish I could "like" this a million times. Perfectly stated Dennis. You're a great neighbor and person and I wish I was closer to help you both out. Just don't overwork yourself - take time to heal properly. Cutting in the summer is not the end of the world if you have to do it!

    Just what I was thinking... If it's in the early spring or early summer. I would love to make the trip to meet the man, the legend. And to terrorize some woods up north.

    Just saw this thread and all I can say is it's a tough decision to make. I wished I lived within a few hours of your house and i would be there in a heartbeat. If a couple of guys get together it's amazing how much work can be done in a Saturday.
