I have used my trailer for the last time this winter most likely. I may need it a few times but it's gotta getvcovered and locked up. Here is us michiganders tactics to a clean dry trailer in wintertime.... Does anybody else do this too?
If I did that I wouldn't be able to use it to gather firewood all winter. Kinda tough pulling it into the woods in the snow, but careful planning gets it done. I'll bet your trailer will last longer than mine by seeing much less salt though.

I use it on occasion in the winter but it's a pain to pull through the woods. My truck can haul a good load out by itself so I usually do that in the winter. I'll admit I have gotten stuck more than once pulling it through the snow lol. It's easy to un winterizw too. I cut the bag off the lock and take the tarp off. Under the tarp I use a 10' fence panel to hold the snow weight. I'm a bit anal about keeping it protected lol.

Nothing wrong with being anal. Just means your stuff will serve you a long time. Kudos, wish I treated all my stuff as well as I treat my saws.
Don't cover I spray the locks & hitch mechanism. Pull the hubs & check grease the bearings. check brakes & suspension. Hit the deck boards with some kind of water seal Usually snow covered till march, but if I get bored I sometimes shovel them out if it warms up & starts melting. Tarps & covers get blown away or shredded here
I need to winterize mine. You did a great job Pete. I think I'm gonna back mine Ito the carport for the winter once I get the last of the rounds off it. Mines a 08 but was alway garage kept with a car on it - no way I'm splashing it through the salt.
I wish I had as nice of a trailer... I just welded the 3500 lb axle into it and so far so good. We pulled it to Ohio for the gtg without a pre road test and it went without a problem. The old 1700 lb was a pos bent to heck. It's c channel frame because I literally ripped the camper off the top and turned it into a 10' trailer for wood. Your trailer looks way nicer lol it's a bigen!
I WISH I could keep in my garage... As is I'm considering a huge 30 by 30 tarp I can go over the whole top with and set blocks on to sorta make a small garage.
If you really wanna' get crazy, build it a shed. My brother has had his 5x10' trailer for at least 15 years, and he finally put new treated 2x in the bed. It gets left out. He bought it used.
I've seen small trailers stored jacked up, with the tires off the ground using rounds on the corners. You can spin the wheels now & then to keep the bearings loose & the tire off the ground helps prevent dry rot and flat spots. Parking the tires on wood is a good thing too. Waiting to see pictures of the 30 x30 garage Dry storage is not overrated
