Did you ever find out what these were? I buy Vermont exclusively now. I go to Robbins in Oxford MA.

Nope, I do know they are not Vermonts though. I have burned mostly Vermonts for the past 4 seasons, all bought from Robbins. Were you able to get any this year? I know they offered them briefly during the early buy period in May, but quickly stopped customers ordering them when VWP announced the production setback they had. I checked back with Robbins a few times, and was told that they would not be taking any orders for Vermonts until September at the earliest, and as far as I know they never did, at least they never updated their web site to reflect it. The only other place around here that sells them is Frederickson Farm in Scituate, RI and they told me in mid August that they were sold out until February at the earliest. So, no Vermonts for me this year. Lots of other kinds to try for the first time though, really looking forward to that.

Yes TT I ordered them in May delivered in August. I pay a bit more for delivery to my area but its worth it. It appears we live in the same vicinity. I have used Blazers and Vermont the past 5-6 years. Enjoy the blazers but at 300 bucks plus a ton.......... WOOF!

Update on the Minute Man pellets: On Friday they had 8 tons. Over the past 4 days, someone has been going down there and systematically depleting the supply by 2 tons every day. As of tonight, they are officially all gone. A little birdie recently told me that there are at least 3 truck loads of them sitting outside a certain bagging facility in Upton, and apparently they have been there for quite some time. It will be interesting to see if they finally move? Jay, I hope some of them make it to a TSC out your way.

Local TSC is supposed to get a shipment in tomorrow. I'll have to stop on my way home. Fingers crossed.

Sadly, I suspect you are right. They are starting to show up in large quantities around here too. North Americans everywhere and I even had a sighting of green supremes last weekend, for the first time since early August.

Bummer! But it seems par for the coarse. The good stuff has been scarce the past few seasons. I made room for 25 more bags of something decent, Prolly not gonna see any. Guess I should have not made the extra room and they might have showed. I'll get a few for samples is about all as the price is a bit more than I wanna pay anyway. Hopefully come spring/summer things settle and a decent brand happens my way.

ttdberg, I'm new to this forum, first post here and am installing a pellet stove today. I bought a ton of the Minute Man's from the Putnum TSC a few weeks ago as well; same deal, can't find any definitive info. I assume you have burned several bags by now? What are your thoughts, good, bad, or?

Brand is unimportant we care more about quantity consumed. :D
