I have a New Carlton 16" bar and 2 chain combo for a Husqvarna Large mount.. The bar has been used twice for about 5 minutes total. The paint has not even worn off the rail of the bar yet. Included is a new Carlton (brand new) and Oregon (used for 5 minutes but still new)!chains. Pics will describe everything. If your looking for a small bar for that 562xp, 372xp, etc?? Then this is your chance. Looking for $50+ shipping ($60 shipped to anywhere in the US)
I need a set of those nifty adapters to put a Stihl bar on my Husqvarna 372.....got any of those laying around??
Don't know? I know my 455 R was 3/8" but don't know whether it's a large or small mount? I ended up with a 16" on my 455 and it flew through wood. I'd consult with a Pro before purchase
I'm almost positive that the 460 Rancher is a small mount bar. The large mount bars are pretty much 70cc and up. But I'm not a Husky guru. You should be able to look on your bar and determine what you have, FT280 or FT288 (or the HT versions) is a small mount .050/.058 IIRC. The large mount would say something like HT380/388 I think........... This is a VERY dusty corner of my mind fellas, I would confirm before pulling the trigger.
Thanks MM will look into that. Husky shows large and small mount bars for the 460 and the large all use 3/8 pitch the small .325 and all are .050 gauge I guess they are sold with different drive gear. Got a 20" husky bar at H depo say 460 and a 20" chain say 460 should of looked at the fine print as bar for .325 and chain 3/8 this brings up the question are large/small mount have to do with pitch or just gauge and are all low profile .325 and all 3/8.......?
The mount has to do with the actual Studs on the saw, and the groove size of the bar (not the bar groove, but the groove that the Studs reside in), hole location for tensioner, etc. If you really interested, I can take some measurements and pics so you can verify?
