I'm sitting here with a belly full of turkey.........

    I am also swapping a EL46 control module onto a EL44.

This has to be done a lot.

You must take into account the source of the info before believing every word of what they spout as fact...

Here's the P&C from the 562xp I got from him... It appears to have been straight gassed. I'm guessing he pulled it straight out of the bin full of blowed up saws and did a quick band-aid job before pawning it off on me... It does run, but it's scored EVERYWHERE. It does have new rings, though. He also pulled the ID tag off. Wonder why?

I think he's worn out his welcome on AS and SH, so I'm sure he'll show up here before too long.

The person who sold that saw and a couple others (that turned out to be duds) to members here has been banned from posting in the classifieds here. Not that we expect him to come hang out anymore. Plus I'm pretty sure his internet saw business is history.

I can't for the life of me understand why someone who try to get over on a saw deal. Saws are small potatoes........so it takes a lot of saw deals to really make any serious money. Burn a few people......and you'll never get a chance to make a bunch of deals. Does that make sense?

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear in my previous post. I didn't buy the saw from a member here, but the guy on the forum that was linked in this thread... The one who seems to have inside info on Husqvarna that nobody else in the chainsaw world has heard of or seen.

Seems like he's made a few "iffy" deals lately on AS... One involving a 75cc 372 with a Mastermind jug on it...

I have two Moody saws. The 2172 runs very strong. Although it quit in the middle of a cut last time I ran it. For some reason the screws came loose that hold the coil on! I tightened 'em up and it runs like a top once again!
