Saw this on CL today while looking for a 4x4 pick up.

230 a chord, non seasoned mixed hardwood? I highly doubt that's a good deal. Why is it I remember getting a chord delivered that was seasoned for that much, and all white/red oak?

That's pretty much going rate, maybe a little low around here.

I was going to say the same thing as DaveGunter , Price seems to be right there.
At least he's not trying to sell it as seasoned. He seems reasonable

Remember being able to get it for about the same delivered. Maybe that's because that was about 10 years ago when my father would get the occasional load delivered? Regardless I let the folks in the neighborhood know if they're willing to get it it's a decent price.

That's pretty good price delivered - guy in my hometown has an add for $350/cord of mixed hardwoods - says the woods has been cut for 3 years - but I'm guessing he means sitting in log length - not split - the splits look fairly fresh. Cheers!

Wow I have way more seasoned red oak than I need (16-18%mc) so I sold a few cord last few weeks delivered $250.00 but it was to friends or their family. But thats not going to be the price again.

Around here, anywhere from $55-$75 face cord delivered. So I guess for a full cord, its not out of line.
On the positive side, sounds like the poster is honest as he describes the wood accurately; unseasoned, etc.
