    Got out in the woods yesterday for one of the last times, 2 more big pheasant for the freezer. What a nice season it ended up!!

    Been snowing here since about 9 this morning. I'll guess we have about 8-9" so far....and it's HEAVY! Supposed to continue until about 10 tonight, so I'll guess final total will be around 10"

    they were calling for 3 to 6 inches, but thank the good lord they were wrong. We got just enough to make a mess!

    Went to lewiston today. When we started back home, it started snowing, the temp dropped 10 degrees all in 5 min.
    Made it back just in time to get my car registered. Town office was closing early due to the storm,. Closed for thanksgiving, also Friday and the following Monday. Ugh, good thing we got back before they closed. Cute how they bundled a one day holiday into 5 days off at the end of the month.
    Now snowing hard. That forecast imacman posted last Monay was considered extreme, but now seems to be the most accurate.

    Looks like we got about 8 or so. Heavy wet chit. Tree's are bending and we've heard branches snapping. :eek:

    image.jpg Power went out for a less than a minute. Pellet stove behaved just fine. Didn't have to do anything.
    My geni still awaits being set up. Sons are always busy. Snowman my cousins kids and grandkids made this evening.

    I'm hearing reports of power outages in outer parts of town. I don't usually lose mine, there's a substation just down the street. I have 5 gal. of gas, JIC.

    We had sleet and freezing rain for most of the day. In the end, we only got about 1/2 inch of heavy slush on the ground. We are just to the right of the band where the real snow fell today. Lucked out this time.
