    I'm taking something from this whole fiasco. Instead of "Hands up....don't shoot" we should tell people trying to burn unseasoned wood "Hands off...don't burn"

    I'm one of those guys that hates politics here. I've posted my dislike for and Scotty has heard from me several times on other threads that got all "preachy" about one side of the political spectrum is better than the other.

    This forum really isn't a place for it. Politics ruins so much so quickly. There was another forum almost all of us know that got ruined (in my opinion) because of preachy, slanted admins. But this is really a current events thread, and seems to be staying this way. It seems to be just calling morons as morons and since it hasn't devolved and since I rarely stay serious I quickly add my nonsense to almost anything! :)

    Dont get me wrong I include thoso people and the situation at hand in my prayers everyday . The bible teaches hate the sin not the sinner . We should love and pray for our brothers and sisters but doesnt mean we have to like each others character

    That thread wasn't locked because of pics of weapons, it got locked because it made that "turn"......threads like that bring out frustration on a lot of members here and guess what......I get flooded with PMs and emails regarding them. As you know, this is a non-profit site, me and the other admin/moderators do all of this as VOLUNTEERS.....we ain't making a dime off of it. And we've said countless times from DAY ONE that we don't want politics in the site. These kinds of threads attract politics. Plenty of other places out there to discuss politics. That being said, we left the thread open as a courtesy for everyone to vent their frustrations, and I can tell you there are other firewood forums out there that wouldn't do the same........
