Its supposed to be in the 20s overnight here in Hudson Valley NY. I have been running both stoves today and the house is nice and toasty. I am working from home this week as i recover from surgery and it feels so nice to be home. I can definitely get used to this. My 12 year old son has been bringing in wood so all I have to do is feed the 30 and he hauls up the bags of pellets for me and reloads the Pellet stove.
    Stay warm my friends.

I am warm and my stove is cranking as we speak. Gotta love a hot stove on a cold day.

Going down to 22F tonight with wind. The stove will be packed tonight. My son Matthew, also 12 has been helping with bringing wood in the house too. He definitely appreciates the warm house!

Hasn't got up much past 25 during the day with heavy NW wind. here since the weekend. Ole' Betty getting a diet of shoulder wood during the day and some really nice maple @ night. House is nice and toasty @ 74. Unbelievable difference with the new windows and doors. Noticable decrease in wood consumption already. All is good, everybody stay warm.

Gotta love having good family helper! I had "shoulder" surgery last year just as "shoulder season" started. Not good.

Hope you have a quick recovery!

Hope your feeling better buy now katwill !

We got pretty cold and even got some snow a few days ago then went right back to the high 40's. It was so warm out I opened and water purged a couple propane tanks tonight after I got home.
