He posted in another thread that they are working to get more BC softies to NE. Douglas Middleton hopefully will keep us posted.
Reviver....turn up the air just a bit for less soot on your window.... More Platinum Okies are on the way....lot more coming for this season and all 3 brands will have double the amount of volumes for next.. Cars ordered, 3rd shift is being added, product secured, more drivers hired and plans for a larger warehouse have been approved. A noticeable shift this season has been the demand for better pellets...be it ours, LaCretes, Barefoot, Vermonts etc, but only so many available. We will be upping our game but it's not done overnight. All our dealers are wanting more if we can get them....so we will and are...stay tuned, our current dealers will be having more "Okies" to offer in the not too distant future....
Geez IHATEPROPANE, here I thought you and the rest of the FHC members here, liked the fact that I have gone out of my way to help supply the NE market with even more pellets to help in whatever little way I can to over come this shortage, and that being the ambassador and cheerleader you and the rest of this group are for this industry, that you would voluntarily go out and purchase 10 bags extra of whatever Okie product you liked and gave it away to your neighbors, peers and family. To help spread the word about how Mr. Warm is doing everything in his power to help the good people of NE not have to suffer with bad pellets thru this winter and the coming years. Since we have just added an additional 25 bulk rail cars at considerable expense (read…$1,000,000 investment in just cars alone) to secure such product and plans to do it again by the 2nd quarter of next year, I would have thought you and others would be so excited to have this extra product coming to your area, since others don’t seem to be putting in the extra effort to do so. …. I realize that this had probably just slipped your mind and once reminded of it, will make every effort to go forth and do so and for that … I thank-you….. Sincerely, Mr. Warm….

Seriously IHATEPROPANE?...... I have sold 10's of thousand of tons of this product since we started to handle it and there are dozens of unbiased reviews all over the net on them....I have a standing book of business thru Feb....longer if I wanted to book it and have just about every dealer I have sold, standing in line for more. People vote with their pocket books and having had this product for almost 2 years now, I'm pretty certain the market knows what they are getting and the vast majority of customers are happy with it...be it a dealer or a retail customer. The dealers won't be reordering it if they were not happy and the buying public wouldn't be coming back for more if they didn't like it....same for my Douglas Fir and Platinum pellets, I appreciate the offer to have someone burn and report back their results and thoughts on our pellets, but at this point its not something we need to do, since there is no shortage of these reviews done already....all anyone has to do is "Google" Okanagan and I'm pretty sure they will find all the reviews they need to make an educated choice if our pellets are worth buying or not.....So to answer your question....am I afraid of someone trying our pellets and giving an "unbiased opinion?"......I think not...!!
Sales don't necessarily mean they are good. Look at Inferno, GS and countless others. Reviews on the internet, cannot be trusted. Often they are written by paid employees, so I have read.......happens all the time for all business. Cannot be trusted. And since you were so defensive I have a feeling you are a bit worried of the results....

Not meant to be ouchie, Just a plash of cool water! I'd have to go all the way to upton to get him a sample. Doug dislikes fed ex or UPS trucks for some reason. A few other brands are easier to obtain. Just need to work out shipping details!
Propain...you are entitled to your thoughts...however wrong and delusional they might be... We actually get independent 3rd party testing done on our pellets from SGS, Twin Ports and BEL all the time, so I think we are pretty well covered there. Jay....I have told you many times, you have free samples waiting for you at Upton anytime you are in the area....but you already know that.
