Stole this from a gun forum I frequent. I didn't put it in the chainsaw forum because it could apply to buying wood, a stove, a saw, a log splitter, new chains, wedges, axes etc. this will be a running thread.

So, what have y'all bought in the last 24hours?

Me, a 200 dollar 3 point splitter off of craigslist last night after work. Going to completely rehab it and make it a tilt-able workhorse.

Then today I stopped into a local stihl dealer to pick up a new primer bulb for my kombi system power head... and see a lone husky sitting there. it just got traded in today on a new 461. 2001 365 special, 20" silver streak bar and a 24" oregon bar and a couple chains... for tree fiddy, I could not pass it up. Didn't really have the extra cash with the holidays coming up, but my long suppressed CAD kicked in... then I got to talking with a customer there and he had at the remnants of an 044 that was smoked and lived just down the road... Gave him all kinds of pointers and told him to sign up here. bought a cracked 044 tank to finish my 044/046 hybrid...he had cad and doesn't know it yet... he'll fit right in here with an 026, 034, 460, 441 and a 461. he was reading about muffler mods on the other site the other day and started to do his own. He has an outdoor wood boiler and gets wood dropped off from tree service companies and lately he's getting the big stuff no one wants. next load he gets, the modded saws and 660, 064 hybrid will head over to help him out and show him what some nice running saws do.

    was a fantastic 24hours.....what'd y'all buy?

4 tires and an oil change (cheaper than I could buy oil and filter for). A super awesome wireless router (the computer kind) that will hopefully solve all of our connectivity issues throughout the house.

Oh Freak, I meant to tell you those Mountain Dews were directly related to the site theme. I drank one and moved some firewood in and cleaned up the basement a bit from firewood mess. Later I was working on building a firewood box for outside moving of firewood with tractor and forks and drank the other.

I forgot about these. I bought these two days ago at TSC (on clearance) for making a rolling platform to roll a firewood box around on the concrete floor under my porch. The process should save a good bit of work when moving the wood around. Old pressure treated from an old deck at camp. Trying to use every bit I can instead of tossing it. This is the beginning of the firewood box.

Glock 26 is 9mm, so is the the 19 compact, and the 17 in order from smallest to full-size.
in 40 cal, the 27 is the midget, the 23 is the compact and the 22 is the full size.
