Weather guy, when did you order it/buy it? I took friends up in August and they are still waiting for theirs. They have 28 people coming for Thanksgiving and were hoping to have it by then, but as of now no stove. But, they are told November so hopefully they'll get it pretty soon.

I had a deposit on an IS but it wouldn't fit without doing some work to the hearth the wife didn't want done so I transferred it over to the PH, it was before August but I don't remember the date. I remember they had 30 built at the sale price so I thought I had time to decide between the PH and IS, within a week they were down to 6 brown so I had to move quick or I'd be in the same boat as your friends.

The PH looks like it fits perfect. My neighbor has almost an identical install. He has a taller hearth, so installed the stove in front of the hearth and it fit perfect. Not quite as pretty as yours though. I'll be interesting to follow your posts as you get used to it and see how you like it. I'd love one, but my house doesn't really need that kind of power, but I love the Fireview, but I'm jealous of that ash pan system.

No, I tried to get him interested but he's got a really complicated life and hasnt gotten back. He may when things settle down for him, but he loves the stove.

How are the burn times looking? Are you able to get all cat burns without the secondaries firing off?

So far I noticed when I turn it down a little sooner it burns a lot like my blaze king but I can tweak the air a touch and get some good secondaries firing off and a hotter burn. It was milder today so I turned the air all the way down and it burned pretty long at about 400 all day, not as long as the Bk but good enough. I like having the option of turning it up if I need to for more heat, I didn't have that option with the BK.

Thanks Golf, I was sitting in front of the stove the other day and realized I forgot to install my new block off plate, I had a two piece I made after the fact for my other stove and I thought this was a good opportunity to make a one piece. With the warm weather mon-tues the stove was cold so yesterday I slipped it in, I used magnets so I didn't have to worry about getting behind the stove to screw anything, it went in nicely, anxious to see if it makes a difference temp wise, it did the first time I installed one.
