Had some White Christmas last year for the first time and loved it too. Planning to stop in at Wegmans in the near future, they are sure to have plenty of it.

Same here, they can be found in more and more packies as time goes on. Snows Clam Shack has them for $2. I've noticed in the past couple years they are starting to come out with new varieties. Earlier this year it was the Del's lemonade shandy. Didn't particularly care for that one.

geeeze, i get in a car wreck and am off line for a few days and come back to my intro thread full of booze! lol

i'm fine, back is a little sore, but i'll live. car is getting fixed... just been busy with the insurance run-around, body shops, hospitals, etc etc etc. ugh. never fun

doc gave me some pain meds for the back, tramodol, and iI ended up having a reaction to it, so back to the er i went. I was seeing flying saucers and orbs. I felt like the guy on ancient aliens. lol never again.

Thanks for the welcome all. No, i've never had Blantons, never even heard of it to be honest.
Maybe i shuld have put a superlative on my bourbon statement.... I'm a CHEAP bourbon guy :D Crown Royal is usually my go-to

Everyone walked out of their cars. I took the worst of it...

It was a typical commute home... highway is cruising and then all of a sudden comes to a stand still. Guy in front of me (mustang cobra) stopped fast. I had enough distance and saw it coming, and stopped even faster (thank you brembo brakes :) ) but was close to him (a couple feet). I could have kept more distance but didn't want to brake any harder than i did for the exact fear that I always live with--- I have a high performance vehicle with the best brakes on the market and 'street/strip race' compound pads and I can stop about 40 feet faster from 70 mph than most other cars on the road today.... a quick glance to the rear view said yup, that POS 90s Camry isn't going to make it.... yup. here it comes. screeching.... headlights dipped low.... chit.... BANG and then REBANG as i got pushed into the mustang. So, I got sandwiched end ended up in a back to back hit and got tossed in 2 different directions pretty quick.

Long story short, if you drive a non-sports car, please consider that the car in front of you can probably out brake you 2:1 and you need to keep even more distance.

The guy wasn't even close to me. I was at nearly a dead stop with 100' gap behind me when i saw him coming. He had time. he reacted. his car, didn't respond. cop cited him as travelling to close.
I kept my mouth shut. he was NO where near me... 15 cars back probably when i even started braking. his car just sucked.

My insurance is being a royal PITA. im going to have to lawyer-up i think to get it fixed to my satisfaction.
