    UGH! Get well soon man! I know it sounds old fashioned but, chicken noodle soup. Sip water all day long and eat chicken noodle soup at least once a day. There is something about a good chicken noodle soup that helps ya out when your sick.

    Today I finally finished a commission job repurposing an old white oak dining room table into five serving trays. The table had been in the customers family for just over 100 years. The old finish had to be sanded off but just enough to leave some age on it. The handles are new, oiled bronze finish. Two are going to Cali, and two to Ohio. I also had some artistic license on the design. I used shellac on the fresh cuts to match the rest of the color of the wood. I then rubbed satin polyurethane to give it a flat finish. I had the living room at 78 degrees all day to dry the poly up good. The basement is in the high fifties and not a good curing temp.

    The pulls were made in Chindia and the screws were 3 different sizes in many packs.:mad:
