Nice install. That stove doesn't look as big as it really is in that picture. Must be a big room, or at last that table to the left of it is a tall table.

I'm amazed at the small clearance that needs to the rear. That's awesome!

I'd be stuffing thatroom full of home theater/audio gear.

    Congrats!

Thanks... I would really like the audio/video gear, but really not much room for it in that room. Theres a second floor play room that might be a better place for it someday. Here's the chimney shot....

Almost done with my stove room. Need to figure out exactly what I'm doing with either crown on top or some piece of stone, old wood. And then put up base and door trim. image.jpg

Just something thin so that you don't lose the focus from the stone and the nice crown on the sides.

Re-faced the fireplace this summer and extended the hearth to make room for the IS.

LOVE that room! The sunlight, wall color, and warmth...... Incredible.

Too bad we already painted. Any idea what the name/code of your paint color is?

    thanks

We had a similar situation in our previous home. Used a paintbrush to fake it on the top, grout color and of course the same paint for the ceiling. Nobody ever noticed. Interested to see what you come up with

This is from the first time we came and looked at this place, and with the old smoke dragon.

Hey Scotty, yeah I just get overwhelmed with scooter forums and all sorts of other mischief during the warmer weather. But I'm like a bad penny, I always come back. :)
