    Knees have been really aching the last couple days. Never been thrilled with how menthol rubs work, trying a generic version of aspercreme. Anyone has experience with similar rubs?

    I have not had success with topicals. I was looking into spices, herbs. There is alot of info out there though I never finished researching.

    This sounds weird but try Saran Wrap before bedtime. Start above the knee 4-5inches and wrap in on down below the knee 2-3 good wraps all the way around. It holds heat and moisture in, you will thank me in the morning!:)

    Google "gel phenomenon" . I have that from rheumy, but I heard it also happens with osteo....

    When my knees give me trouble I usually just bitch and moan about it to whoever is in ear shot. I like to think it helps :D

    I lost 30 and my knees still hurt.
    Once the arthritis sets in, you're a goner.
    I plan to lose at least 15 more, and it'll help in other ways, but the knees are shot.
    Maybe I can get some new bionic knees.

    I inherited my arthritis.........not caused by being overweight.
    However, being overweight will exacerbate the effects of having arthritis.
    Lose weight if you need to. It should help a little.
    Maybe if you're scrawny, you need to gain weight to make arthritis go away.
    I'm not a Dr., nor do I play one on General Hospital.:rofl: :lol:

    I'm not sure on your views but a doctor might be able to help get you up and around again. I have read alot of your posts and see you have an active lifestyle, pain is NO FUN!!
