I just hope it doesn't warm up and rain next week, that would be a nightmare.

Yeah, might take a couple minutes to clean that up.

I would be powerless to contend with that mu h snow. I've seen snow like that before while living in Minisota. It takes $ and a lot of heavy machinery to cope with that. Can't imagine the loss of wildlife in these situations.

Buffalo is getting help from all over. My better half was on the thru way heading east out of Syracuse for the 20 mile trip home last night. She said that there was a convoy of snow removal equipment going west that went on for almost 10 miles of her ride.

Holy chit and everything in between that looks like a clean garage. Where you gonna put all that snow. I guess you could shovel a little at a time into the bathtub crank up the heat and watch it melt.

    WoW!
We had a few rough storms over that past few years, but that mess takes the cake.
Hope everyone's roofs held up, and for those not able to read this, I hope your power gets fixed real soon...:campfire:

Amazing, thanks for the pics! I think the most snow I've ever seen at one time on the ground was between 10-12 inches.

Winter 10/11. Kids where only weeks old and it snowed every 3 days from Christmas to February. First time I ever had to rake the roof as where were getting leaks from ice dams. Piles around the yard so high I ended up shoveling a trench system that looked like Verdun to get to the doors and keep it away from the house.

This is the first couple storms... that's a yard stick there at the end of the drive.

Digging a trench to get to the stacks...

This is one of the best... I was standing on top of the pile looking down the street, by this point that 6ft high lamp post was completely buried and under my feet. You can see my trench system to get around and rake off the roof and shrubs. There is at least a foot of packed snow in the bottom of those walking paths.

Wow that's some scary sheet. I heard that buffalo had quite a few casualties. I feel bad for a lot of people there, especially the elderly..that's insane the amount of snow they got..

They are worried about the warm temperatures and the rain coming. I hope they can keep from losing their roofs. They have had a couple of large buildings roof callapse and some other smaller structures according to the news.

Some more random pictures from news places.
