I wonder why I am stressing about unkind relatives in an upcoming visit :headbang:. How dumb to worry about them when they don't care about us? Stoopid, I already have deflections and redirections for the likely snide remarks to come. :picard:

Considering "all things"... this is beyond repulsive. Bet it kinda takes some of the "thankful" out of Thanksgiving for you. And, that sucks... :headbang:
So... have these "sorta family" members actually ever met you? ;) ... Kill em with kindness, comes to mind... :axe::D
Maybe they will surprise you this time? Good luck.

I wonder just how big of a sh1thole this country is going to be when my kids, who are 2 and 3 now, are young adults.

I'd recommend New Zealand. It's where I'd go with my family if they'd have me.

I wonder when a great leader will step forward with confidence to deliver us back to the great shining city upon the hill.

I don't know about you but I'm not holding my breath. It's going to take more than one great leader though. It's going to take a complete cultural and moral renaissance. I'm only in my mid 30s but I believe that this country is in a freefall of moral decay. I can quite literally feel my blood vessels constricting when I think about the world my kids are going to be living in and the people that they will be forced to share it with. I shouldn't have to feel so angry and pessimistic at such a young age but it is what it is and I do my best to enjoy the time I'm given and make it enjoyable for my kids in their lives as well. As indivduals our capacity to adapt far exceeds our capacity to affect meaningful and widespread change.

I'm wondering why politics keep edging itself into this thread :(

I wasn't trying to be overtly political. Not blaming this one or that in my posts. But the question was "what do you wonder about" and I can honestly say that what takes up most of my time "wondering" is what kind of lives my kids might possibly have based on the current state of affairs in this nation.

Its just that its a slippery slope that can quickly grow into a hornets nest that takes away from what makes this forum so much fun.

Last night's events have had me in a foul mood today but your point is duly noted.

But hey I also wonder why people still watch Adam Sandler movies.:)

He's from my home state of NH and I guess he's kind of a a favorite son.

There haven't been too many famous people from NH. Alan Shepard, Daniel Webster, James Polk and Adam Sandler.....that's all that I can think of.

Oh and that twit Sarah Silverman.

I wonder about a LOT of things.....COUNTLESS things, a lot of them political. And believe me when I say, I stand with you guys in the regards to the moral crap going on in this country. My biggest disbelief is how the Nazis destroyed an entire piece of humanity not all that long ago, look around whats happening here and now, and it's like we've completely forgotten about it.....

BUT, we aren't going to stoop and allow politics in here, guys and gals. I know, it's hard to do, but we've made this a great place because of that fact......please, do your best to quell that notion....

I wonder what the weather is gonna be like for the upcoming deer rifle.season here in PA. I have the entire second week of the season off, I'm hoping it's really cold and hopefully snowy so I don't have to deal with those wretched ticks......
