At 16:1 it saves me a trip to the storm drain and keeps the bugs away while I'm cuttin'......

I was just curious what everyone was using these days.. I run what I run. Its worked since the very first oil thread I ever saw on the interweb... it doesn't smell as good as the stuff I used in the bike days, though.

I bought 2 cases of pennzoil quarts 2 stroker lube at an auction 5 years ago for like $17 or some obscene cheap amount. Works great.
There was a early 80s date on the cases.
Does that count as true Dino oil????

negative batman. ran one bottle years ago and it separated and attracted moisture. I love the smell of klutz, but never ran it in anything other than the zebra and 375 from eric years ago. I run stuff that isn't available anymore. not sure how it will react with ethanol tho. I have one place out by me that has no E fuel and I try to run it in everything.

Maxima k2 right now. Seems to leave a very..... very good film of oil. Not sure about how clean it is yet. Bel ray is very good but smells awful to me. It is very clean burning. I can smell it when I go to bed. The bike oils are recommended to be ran @ 32:1.

The synthetics lubricate better , in turn the saw runs cooler.
I went with Amsoil Saber & mix 40:1
saw manufacturer ( with the EPA pressuring them) calls for 50:1
Smokeless, has fuel stabilizer in it, less carbon build up.
If you are going to run a 50:1 mix, synthetic would be my 1st choice
40:1 mix can go in all my 2 cycle stuff, burns clean, no smoke & no odor
