    This ain't a 242XP top end either though.

    Must be a regular 242.

    Still should be a nice saw. I think the 42 piston was slab sided and was longer so there was less intake duration but more base compression. What compression are you shooting for. Small bore should be able to handle some high comp

    A regular 242 was closed port too like a 272 style. That is a 42 special jug with an aftermarket 242 piston

    I just need someone to figure out what it is (other than a 15.6K saw:D) so I can list it. I want to wash my hands of the whole deal. Until I know what it is.... I dont know what to say in my listing.:headbang:

    It seems to be a good runner. I'll recheck compression after some run time......but it was blowing about 200 psi

    Hedges 064 is a freakin animal. I ran it a little at his GTG and it was almost scary.
