Is this the first time you have sold Purcells? They seem to be popular in this area this year. Just wondering what kind of feedback you have received
Started selling them last year....have to bring them in via railcar, and that's been dicey.....fair amount of damage from improper loading of the car and bumping in transit for a couple thousand miles. Seems to be a good pellet, its fir...most of them are pretty good, but due to the amount of handling and distance, fairly pricey. People like them...so far we've only sold a few hundred tons tho....this is the pellet we include with our Harman stoves. At least when we do that, and folks burn that, then switch to another lesser-quality pellet, they KNOW why they have less heat and more ash...its the pellet, honey!
well, I hear there's a shortage...see it here....hear about it on the phone from folks I never heard of telling me their tales of woe in that their "regular" guy doesn't have any/didn't get any yet.......apparently the only ones who have pellets are the ones who were proactive enough to plan ahead, and of course the ones who are the best-looking and sexiest.....gonna let you guess which one I am....
Everything I'm reading about oil pricing indicates the price is going to continue to drop and even after they stabilize they will remain low for an extended period. I would have to think that this would have some impact on pellet usage and inventory level.
you'd think so, sub, but the oil price has been falling for months and it seemingly hasn't affected pellet prices or supply in a positive way......
I just want to sample some of the other flavors, and cant get em. Side note, buddy got his stove 6 days ago, and helping steer him to where we have any stock around here.
I think I scored a bag for testing over the xmas break. Only cost me a bag of chows too! Gonna also trade for a bag of Natures own.
Nice I'm real interested to see what you and Steve think of these ,they seem to be getting mixed reviews . They worked for me and would buy more
This guy says he hates them. He's setting them aside and If I like them he'll trade me for some chow or MWP.

Jay all I can say about them is they kept my house warm and I thought they burned hot with little ash you guys be the judge as we say your mileage may vary And yeah I'm having a Few Beers
