A coworker showed me an ad on Craigslist. $1500 for a Jotul F600, brown enamel finish, like new 'burned ~10 times', fan & heatshields included, plus came with 22' of unsulated liner. I was gonna sell my coworker my 4 year old F400 for along with the liner for $1500. Essentially, I would have gotten a free upgrade to a SWEET stove, & my coworker would've gotten a pretty great deal, too. Missed it by a day or two.
Really? That's suprising, but maybe because I've been browsing CL in a relatively rural area. I should expand my search area, I'd be willing to drive.
I'd say the $1500 was a decent price at this time of the year. Off season may be better. I sold my F500 matte black stove for $1200 this summer with nothing to go with it.

If you are buying used, and you aren't picky about the color/finish, you can find them for under a grand pretty regularly if you are willing to drive a bit.
