    they are nice saws. other than the little echo TH i have a 310 is my only firewood saw. keep saying i'd like to get something in the middle but haven't yet. keep us posted on the muffler mod i still have to do mine.

    Best muffler mod on those is to relieve pressure behind the baffle with a hole in the recessed area on the front of the can. The bigger the hole, the louder it gets. I have a 390 with all of the recessed area removed and the deflector cut back as far as practical. It runs/sounds pretty sweet. Not quite as loud as I expected but it's still damm loud. Lol

    Nice saw Boss, at a killer price! That will treat you well for a long time to come :saw:

    My first muffler mod was on an 039....... 1/2" drill bit right through the cover, baffle and can. It sounded and ran great!

    I still am planning on doing that to mine MM. Take the modd to the extreme. Just the three holes you told me to drill made a huge difference though!!

    Oh Yea I see all kinds of stuff scroll across my wifes feed or whatever its called and thats not even a trading board or room or whatever they call it. Thats just posts that people put up so friends can see it.

    I have seen trucks and guns posted on my wifes FB page all the time!!
