I saw it somewhere on here once before, cool seeing it again. Makes you think for sure. You can kind of guess whats up while you can hear the whistling round coming back to visit.
Yes indeed. A .50 caliber rifle is basically an handheld cannon......made for long distance accurate shooting. He is BEYOND lucky that bullet didn't kill him. A bullet of that size and velocity just going past you at close proximity could do damage, from what I understand. The only thing that probably saved him was the fact that the bullet lost most of its energy when it hit the target initially...... Wow.....
NATO round for the Ma Duece was i believe a 220 gr slug with an 80 gr charge, made really big holes in virtually everything i fired at with it. not certain if the Barret .50 uses the same round but if it did that slug is about the size of a person's thumb. guy is exceedingly lucky it didnt hit him squarely or this would have been a"self snuff" film
About a month ago I was shooting at my steel swinging plate with my 1911 at 15 yards. Had a bullet come back and nail me in the thigh! It stung quite a bit, but didn't leave a mark. It was a good reminder that everyone that's standing around should always have on eye protection, as my wife was standing right next to me. I guess that's why the fine print on the target said that the recommended shooting distance is 25 yards, even though its sold as a handgun target.
