some Maple today, it took me longer cleaning this area up than I thought it would, this will give us two trails back in after a certain point.
It was rotting from the top down so the rounds aren't the best, but I'm a GIBIR so we'll take it. Are you in for any snow in your area?

By the end of the week we could have over 8 inches, not a lot considering what they might get in the Watertown NY area, by Saturday they could have six feet of snow.
You've made good use out of that trailer How's it holding up ? Greased & tightened the bearing on mine. plywood's getting soft too. Thinking I should've gone with plastic.
Looking good Zap, I cut a decent load of cherry myself on Sat. If it weren't dark I would snap a pic of the pile. Now that I think of it I chunked up a sugar maple blow down to finish up the load. We're on the same page this weekend.
That Sugar is some nice firewood, we have some topped of Maple (not sure if it's Sugar) I'll get this spring. We finally stopped burning Pine & Hemlock, it's so nice to burn wood that will last and have coals in the morning.
About the only thing I have that resembles shoulder wood is silver maple. I burnt a stove load of that a few times lately, cat stove really does well with that and she cranked the heat out. I don't keep my piles separated to any degree so I have been burning a little of everything. Cherry, sugar maple, beech, ash, elm, walnut, red and white oak, black locust, hickory. I have been sitting the hickory off to the side for the most part though.
That's a nice list of firewood you have. I keep the Sugar & Beech together, the Cherry has two sections, 3.05 cord per section or 10 NY Face cord, the shoulder season wood has it's own section. I didn't start out this way but over time it just happened!
I do have some areas of the stacks that will be at times concentrated with a certain type depending on if at the time I split and stacked in the same time frame. Some times I get behind on the splitting and just split and throw in a pile then stack later so it mixes more. I don't have the area that you do so I do the best I can with the area I do use of the yard. I'm blessed to have a few different places to cut since I don't have my own wood lot.
Sorry for the late reply, it's holding up real good, not a crack in the tub and the bearing are good. I don't throw anything in the tub unless it's real small, some think it's small but the size is perfect for the hills we have.
