    Getting cold so the glass is so much easier to shatter. We just barely bumped one with a mud mat years ago and it freaking shattered. It was less than 20° that night.

    Not sure about now, but back in my youth, we'd get an aftermarket sliding rear window for a whole lot less than the factory glass. Then if we didn't learn anything the first time, we could at least stick a piece of cardboard in the new broken section of the slider, leaving 3 section good!:rofl: :lol:

    Years ago my husband was traveling for work in Casper Wy. He called ~ 6 am to check in, he was warming up the F250 in subzero temps (it was plugged in all night). I heard a bang that sounded like a gunshot over the phone, it was the windshield cracking from turning the defrost on :jaw::bug::shiver:
