Not trying to win, just bothers me when someone says my statement is false, that I am lying, with ZERO facts to back up their assertion.

Any yes saying someone made a false statement is accusing someone of lying.

    Lying: making a false statement

Alot of people still prefer to do It by hand. People use splitters to get more wood done so they could have more wood in less time so they coild venture off and do other things. No attitude just giving my opinion. Dont take it personal..

Ahhh I g the it, so seasoning wood faster, so you can have more in less time...seasoning will make his stove safer so he can venture off and do other things without tending it as much ... Wait what???

should you repeat the above to Dennis?

Whoever needs wood to dry Asap should try but most of us dont need It asap so we could afford to let it sit and dry

No, not necessarily. Maybe some people are old skool, their ideas work (and work WELL) for them, and no matter what you say, think, or do you will never change their mind, so we move on and not get upset about it. That's what I'm saying.

    Wood sheds are not overrated
Dry , snow free, findable firewood is nice.

Like you , I wanted to get a few years ahead.
That meant a needed a woodshed, birch don't do well getting wet.
I built a 3 section shed, each section hold a years worth, (7 cord)

Wood is stacked in the shed 2 years before it's burned.
Well seasoned dry wood is fun to burn

I vote for the wood shed

Everyone here has good intentions and different ideas.. This will give the OP ideas to mull over and perhaps come up with a game plan based on the pros and cons of each idea or perhaps a combination of plans will work best and become a new idea.. I value everyone's opinion here and take all their ideas into consideration to try to get the desired result. Nobody is calling anyone a liar here and we all want to help the OP. This is what forums are for, discussing and debating..

Probably not, because he's already set in his ways......

Now I don't see anywhere in Dennis's posts where he called YOU out personally, but you are calling him out.

    See what I'm saying?

I have met both you and Dennis and to be honest I don't see where the problem is. You are an incredibly smart, nice, giving person and the same goes for Dennis. I have learned a great deal from Dennis and I bet it was you elsewhere that had a kiln thread that got me testing that. Everybody has different methods. Experience does count as well as new tech it's not a one way street. I dry three years on a very very small parcel plus I got creative and used friends property's to dry and stack. The three years was a lesson from Dennis that works fantastic. The kiln was a great idea that does have applications as well.... So where is the fire?

Well it can't be spring fever or cabin fever.
Must be some kind of syndrome associated with an early cold spell.

    POLAR VORTEX syndrome ! ?
    Vortex Fever?

    Symptoms:
Peopled get "pizzed off " & " defensive" over nothing.
Ability to smile is greatly reduced

    Cure :
Smile often, then smile again , , laugh at yourself now & then
    makes you feel gooder

    LOL
youns are funny, Making me laugh

3 pages of a thread & a guy asked about a wood shed or wood racks.

I will vouch for Dennis too.. I have met him and his wife and they are great honest people.. Dennis is a smart experienced wood burner and all around good guy! I have used and heeded his advice and modified the info to suit my purposes.. Dennis absolutely deserves respect if nothing else as all the members here deserve respect too..

That is correct, and what he got was a needless argument out of it.......

For that, I apologize to the OP.

Solar Kilns was a conversation we had when I met you...i remember because I was a first year burner and desperate for dry wood. I had read about solar kilns a few days earlier in a woodworking mag of my father's.
