Got it s stacked along with some pine I split awhile back. Just a little over a cord. Put a divider pallet in there so I can pull the pine out separate from the oak.
Thanks Backwoods! Yeah I have been but I already shot my buck for the year a while back so I have been more motivated to keep getting wood while the getting is good. I took my daughter out for the first time tonight and she got to see 3 does and a 6 point at less than 20 yards. It was hard keeping her still and she spooked them though.
I won't touch an oak that I dropped for at least 3 years. I am about 4-5 years out on wood though so I'm not to worried about it. I can promise when I do it there will be pictures! I also have a triaxle load of logs to process this winter. I am so far behind it is depressing.......
That has to be great having a daughter to take out hunting. I remember when our granddaughter was young we used to take her out hunting. I thought I'd get a few neighbor kids interested but no show. Got my buck Saturday and might get the saws running yet this week but the weather is a bit nasty right now.
