Missed a great deer yesterday. Had everything perfect, even grunted him in from out in the middle of the field. Came in perfect and I bumped the release with cold hands before I was ready. The rest is a big wiffa.....
Sorry man that sucks......... At least you had an excuse I have just plain missed before and that really makes you hate yourself.
Only thing you can do is laugh! I shot over a nice buck, nothing huge two nights ago. He was only 15 yards, and guess what I was cold and didn't pick a spot! I could have shot a second arrow, but he was at my max range. I just sat down slowly and chuckled, I love seeing bucks on the move.

Sean, my heart goes out to you. Most of us have done similar things and we know what it is like. Yesterday started our rifle season. A week ago I shot an 8 point with my bow. I was not going to post about it simply because although I had a great blood trail for a long ways, I was not able to recover him. Yesterday sort of made up for that. I'll make another thread.
