Hello all, I've been using these for a few years now and for some of you who may have a "chopped" up house as I do, it helps move air/heat from room to room. There super easy to install, 2 screws and plug them in. They have 1 speed, "on" and they are not noisy. Pete, here's a pic of Grandma cooking away a year or so ago, That Mama bear next to her is a relic I salvaged from a guy who had it in storage and was moving. I have one of the EntreeAir fans. I bought it about 6 yrs ago when I bought my 1st pellet stove. They work well, but they are a tad noisey. After a couple years, I looked into through the wall fans. SunCourt makes one, but its pricey. So the 1st one I bought was a Broan 512 (I think its a 512?) for my Sons room. Its 90 CFM and prob has 3x-4x the output of the EntreeAir and the Broan was only $40. Its a little loud, but man does it push air. The 2nd one I bought for our room was more money, but well worth it. Its a Tjernlund Aireshare. Super quiet!! And looks a little better. It uses the wall cavity as the air path. The blower and diffuser can be oriented however you would like. I put the intake blower very high and then the diffuser about mid way down. Whats nice about these fans, is the door can be closed. Air is forced in and the return air goes out under the door. Here are some pics (the EntreeAir is still up but has gone unused). 1st pic is of the 2 outer louvers of the fans. Ours is the white rectangle above TV and my sons is the white round one just to the left of his door. The pellet stove used to be in the Dining room (room farther back with all the pics and dollhouse) but I took that one out and installed a new one this year. Moving it one room closer to the bedrooms. Which was a decision I should have made 6 yrs ago with my old stove. Amazing what 12 ft can make.
So those little fans DO work? I'm always tryin to move the air from the kitchen into the living/dining room. My smokedragon is in the basement and i the hot air coming up the stairs pretty much cooks us out of the kitchen. But when you walk into the dining/living area the temp drops quite a bit. Sounds like i should try one of them.
You Bet! It's not rapid but they do work! I turn mine on as soon as I light the stove, you'll see a big differance
Dave-- do you think something like these work well moving heat from floor to floor? I am looking fore something I can install in the stove room at ceiling level and pop out in the upstairs hallway at floor level. These would be at the direct centre of the house.

That looks pretty good. I wonder what the specs are on the squirrel cage and motor. I am more likely to recycle parts that actually buy their set up.
There small, only about 7" but I guess if you put one (or two) at the base of the stairs it would do the trick! My house is a split level, for the heating aspects of it, It $UCKS, it was built in the early 60's, "all electric base board"….. I have tried "many ways " to move heat around in this house. So far, this is the best way. I have four of the little fans and when I light the stove, they go on. My laundry room is on the back, North west corner of the house. In the winter, it's the coldest room too. With the little fan it brings it up a good 10+ degrees. I happen to like the fact that they are not permenant and your not boring holes in the wall etc…
The Broan is only $40 and moves at least 3 times more air. Although more work is involved, it's well worth it. IMO
