My new Husqvarna 545 and my Echo CS 271 T :)
This makes a great combo i tell ya !! No trees bigger than the 16 inch bar in my woods... So the 545 for the "big" stuff.... 271 for the limbs. Remember... No making fun of my small wood :). Really impressed with the 545 thus far ! image.jpg image.jpg

I'm not really up on the Huskies but from the website, looks like a pretty nice saw. Appears to be some White Ash? I know it's cold but you'll have to go back out and get us some split pics. ;)

I only had one saw for years. I really like having a small one now for all the limbs, etc. Looks like you've got a couple good ones there.

Nice combo, and I'm not about to make fun of your firewood because I save that small stuff too, even from the big trees we cut. It's all BTU'S. May as well recycle it instead of taking it to the dump where they'll run it through the chipper!

Nice work. You must be able to put in a long piece in the stove as some of those look pretty long.

A lot of them fit in ....but the long ones get use in the outdoor fire pit !! You can tell when the arms get tired...the little stuff gets cut longer LOL !

I need to get a smaller saw for limbing. The 562xp with a 20" bar is a little excessive.

Take a look at the Echo CS271T Its a little pricey...but its the lightest....and has plenty of power for smaller stuff !! And....as a few others can attest to...about an hours worth of mods really helps it breath as it should . It is my go to saw for anything that needs "one handed" :)

I understand buddy. One of the big reasons i went with the 545. Im glad i did. Dont bother with the 550xp. Its a great saw.... But the 545 is close enough in power to make me wonder why the 550xp costs so much.
