The folks at Weather.com who can't get yesterdays high and low temperatures correct say it has started.
Saw that. Past 6 months was Boring weather . They're having fun, playing on the human emotion & sensationalizing a normal weather event. 24 hr TV & internet coverage cost $$. They had to do something to get attention to their broadcasts & web sites Investor & advertising money $$ at stake. Boring to say, "it's winter , expect cold weather & snow ." Not sure why cold weather & snow in the midwest & eastern US in winter is big news. "Not" Global warming maybe ? LOL They don't have much coverage for the weather in Alaska, no money in it for them.
The whole globull climate change scare tactics are taking a hit aren't they? You know they're havin' trouble when they say the reason folks are seeing waaaaaaaaay below normal temps is because... wait for it... the planet is warming...
I have a tough time figuring out what the normal temps are, & what the trend is. are they the warm temps (but then they call that global warming) are they the cold temps (but they call that climate change & are caused by global warming) OMG ! A record snowfall in November in the UP of Michigan. (fine print " Hasn't done this since 2010" ) Sound like sportscaster's, "Most rushing yards since 2012" Trouble is if you keep saying it over & over, it becomes the normal way of thinking, but noting to do with the facts. Brainwashing techniques ? Kinda sounds political, eh?
If it was political Dave... now, that just wouldn't be sciiiiiiiiiience would it? So...... it can't be political... Warmists say it's getting warmer so.... it must be getting warmer, and wildwest is just kidding when she tells us it's -20 below zero in Wyoming... At least it's all very entertaining...
I want to know where they stuck that thermometer so I can dump a bucket of chicken poop on it. That should heat it up a bit .
If you don't have stats, ya' got nothing to talk about. Don't get me started on that......I'll likely get banned....or hated on. Or both.
Ah yes, but the average of what. Anyway if it makes it this way I have plenty of TP and shovels. He double I think I still have a shovel that I cobbled together from heavy item pick time back in the big city. I had several shovels and rakes that I got that way. Waste not, want not.
The WU sticker in my sig never agrees with my thermometer or the temps on weather.com. Oh well when I go out to tend to things here I believe my stuff over the others which has been known to be miles away.
When in doubt (which is most of the time), I just look at the thermometer outside the kitchen window. It's pretty accurate....I guess. The other thing I do is walk outside. If I'm cold, well, it's cold. If it's snowing, uh....you get the idea.
Just like the story of the Native American weather rock. If it's wet, it's raining. If it's white, it's snowing. If it's flying, take cover.
