    Scotty I'd be thrilled if anything in the house was only 1/4" out of square. I think my bathroom door frame is 2 inches out on one side... And the kids room floor has a 3 or 4 inch dip in the middle...

    I understand the aggravation of un level floors. Dresser drawers won't stay shut, toys roll across the floor....sadly my house is only 60 years old.

    I've been good. Scotty and his "hoard" of site keepers are doing a good job. (sorry, that was bad) Besides keeping us on the edge of our wood splitter seats waiting for this new site to open. I have no finger nails left. None. They are knawed back to the skin.

    My house was pretty much the same (built in the early 20's by my Great-Great Grandpa and Great Grandpa) out of whatever they could afford....it wasn't really bad, but some spots were pretty bad from settling over the years...

    Those unlevel floors and such give a lot of charm....you gotta remember they built those antique homes more out of necessity, not so much what they 'wanted'......

    I love that old character....
