Conspiracy Theory: The kid at Agway is friends with the kid at HD. You know, the one that wouldn't sell you those two tons of AWF softies last week. So Agway kid locks them in at the low friend of an HD kid price of $250/ton then turns around and sells them for a modest markup at $450/ton.
I cannot really comment on how the Big Boxes collectively order/do business....its a fairly closely held thing. I can say though that many of the pellets we have coming in lately were ordered MONTHS ago, with the bulk being ordered in the Spring. Other than carry a brand that is of dubious quality at a high price, I think I'll stick with the vendors I know...and who owe me dinner.
I can honestly say, I can go out and get pellets anytime I feel like it. I am stocked & still on the prowl. I told guy at local pellet house I'm a hoarder. He said if you use burn pellets you gotta be!
No I never did, the per bag price is too steep for me. However I hear that the Purcell and the North Idaho's are both better than the Blazers. Not sure how you can tell the difference at that point but that is what I heard.
I got a 10% coupon from TSC this weekend. Going to grab 15 bags of something after work today. Have no idea where they are going to fit...
well, truth be known, theres nowhere in THIS town I wanna eat. BUT, he did take my brother to dinner in New Hampster a few months back.....not me tho.....something about no one can ever take me anywhere, being a spectacle, etc
