Ice Storm

    We are on the south side of what SmokeyTheBear told me is called astro. We are getting freeze rain and ice, I keep hearing the uninterruptible power supply kicking on as the power flickers. The Internet is plugged into the ups, we've got plenty of battery powered net enabled devices so bring it on!

    yeah, but its not even winter yet according to the calender

    This deep freeze coming down from Alaska / Canada is suppose to totally miss me, however we are expected to drop down into the upper 20's overnight this week, that is cold for us out on the left coast

    I don't mind the cool weather so much but don't like getting my slippers wet in the snow on the porch getting wood

    Okay. Losing power can be a real P.I.T.A. especially if it goes on for a long time! :D

    The longest I guess I've been without electricity was a little over a week in 1998. I think it was Jan.

    Many times from a few short hours to overnight.:fire: Fire was always cozy though.
