I hope we get answers on this all winter as the wood and the temps change.

Maple, pine and oak floor scraps, spoke to a few guys that install flooring and I asked them to hook me up and we will settle it somehow. Stuff burns very well, just got it watch it and mix it with other softer woods, it can go nuclear fast.

Willow, pine, cottonwood, tulip poplar. All are 16-22%, burning up the stuff I have helped the neighbors take down , or cleaned up after storms. I don't think that I'll be burning that tomorrow night , SE Michigan looks to be affected by the storm over the Baltic Tuesday night. Temps overnight in the 20's, daytime temps in the 30's through the weekend at least more likely through the following week as well. So by tomorrow afternoon ill start dipping into the 18% ash and cherry

    Bone dry red oak.
Tested some last year and it was anywhere from 17-23 %
    Haven't tested any this year.
It was cut down last November and January, 4 0r 5 year dead standing.

I'm hoping to get 8 more cords of it delivered to my yard this year instead of driving 20 miles each way to cut for a day and bring back 3/4 cord at a time.

I kind of assumed he meant the Bearing, and not the Baltic but you never know.
