The Angry Beaver makes for some awesome firewood handling skills... I hate handling wood 2 and three times... I can load up one of these crates and with 500lbs of counterweight, it is just enough to safely move it around the property. It also makes an easy cleanup after dropping a tree!

More than the tractor will safely handle... lol. I ended up making a 50" bucket for it. just because a 42" bucket full of dirt wasn't much.

I work for an emergency rental company specializing in large power projects. basically a diesel mechanic, HVAC tech and unlicensed electrician. Do you watch the super bowl or olympics, or other large sorting events? Its usually me running the generators for the broadcast so you can watch it around the world.

I have an extensive background for a young pup... roofing and siding, steel fabricator, certified welder, my father and I used to have a restoration business for old mustangs. did 15 or so ground ups by the time I was 18. Worked a factory job building gradalls and rayco stump grinder. I learned a lot about welding structural parts from those jobs. Worked tree service for a few summers... basically a jack of all trades and master of none.

Nice job. One good thing about older machines you don't have all the over rides for safety that make them seem like turds.

I was a broke new homeowner with no cash and needed a tractor....traded a rolling chassis mustang for the tractor and traded an 038mag and winchester 1300 for the loader.

back yard.... I ended up taking about 3 to 3 1/2 feet out of the back cornerwhere the fence and the garage meet. I dug out the muck, I spread it out beside the garage to dry out. Then after a few days drying, i dug some more creating a taper to the back corner. The property slopes to the left, so I"m going to run drain pipe down the width of my property and end it at the opposite corner to the low point of the property ditchline.

Now, I had a bigger issue in the front yard too...Did the same thing...tore my my yard up, dug out the muck, let it dry out, then went back and moved material to higher ground. Added a sloped grade, from the center of the property to the ditch. this is basically what I started with...soggy, stayed mushy all year round... this pic is just from driving on it a few times..

Here's a quick phone vid of me draggin some dirt.... click on the pic, not sure why it doesn't have the play button....

I'm not totally done, but had to button it up before the rain came...I had to move my topsoil pile to the left in this pic about dusk as the storm was moving in. It all got spread out on this side of the house, about center of the red fence in all those low spots in the pics. That was difficult doing that in the dark, as it started to rain, but I was amazed how smooth she turned out! I had a bucket sitting outback that had 2"of rain in it the next morning... no pond or swap in the front or back yard where there was before.... I didn't take any pics the other night because it was dark, and just plain forgot today, but I'm mostly finished with the rough grading...need a bunch of fill dirt next (and a loader to move it). I'm thoroughly amazed at this little tractor. i worked the dog snot out of it, and it took it like a champ. Might be the best 800 bucks I ever spent! I'll try to get a "finished" pic of the front yard if I can get home before dark tomorrow!

Best part is....... After I was done in the muck, I got my matching front ags! lol. Had it get a little warm on me and I ended up taking the radiator in to get cleaned and they found a pinhole.. . put me down for two days in this 80 degree weather weve had.... New belts and hoses and cleaned up the engine and repainted some on it.

the disc didn't work as well as planned, so I took my ratchet rake and strapped it on my box blade. Within an hour or so, it made a heckuva difference! almost ready for some grass seed!

I wish I had decent neighbors.... The whole reason I moved out in the country... to be left alone. I shoot at my range once a week to... yeah I built one of those too. Neighbors call the sheriff, he stops over, even shoots sometimes... I'm sure they think I"m redneck as hell, but I don;t care, they are all a bunch of wannabe yuppies. pay people to mow their lawns type. Heck the one called the county engineer on me because I was "going to flood them out"... they musta been mad I stopped all the drainage coming from their property to mine.. you should have seen them all standing around when I dropped that big maple out front in the pics above that was dead at the top. The one neighbor had the balls to tell me months later that he thought I was going to drop it on my house..

You're much more talented than me. If I tried to build a bucket that worked I'm sure I would fail miserably... Or it would look like a$$ and break when I used it!

But dang you need a backhoe for that thing!

I thought my neighbors would think the same when I bought my house. They are all great though. Of course most within sight are 60+ and don't care what I do with MY property.
