    Well, I took it her out yesterday afternoon to my Buddies place. He only had a 18" bar and was needing a bit more bar to get some of the Honey Locust that was knocked down. WOW:bug:... if this thing gets stronger beyond its first tank of gas I'm in for a real treat. I think it might out run the 046. I'll be making some noodles this afternoon on a piece of Oak.

    I know...I know...but I ran it again this morning. All I can say so far, is that Terry made this a Bad MoFo...I'm going to have to run my 046 now to get a comparision. Then I need to get a log for some cookie time and video.

    So far I am not a fan of the 576 for noodling. Mine tends to pack up pretty bad. The inboard clutch seems to collect wood shavings and not spit them back out. I like the 395 for noodling duties.

    Yea, it seemed to do that quite well. But I've got a desire to help break this monster in... I don't know if it's just me but this things seems to just cut good.

    Yes I agree it is an excellent saw. I used mine for a work day at local school forest last month. They needed to widen 2 miles of road in order for the buses to get in and out better. Guess the bus leasing company didn't like the 'back woods pin striping look'...

    Nothing huge but lots of felling. More than a few that used up most of a 24" bar. A local logger was handling the removal, tried to get them to drop a load or two at my place but they had a contract with a biomass plant. Oh well, was still a lot of fun. I was the only one who did not have saw problems that day. My section the trees were all dropped parrellel to the road and neatly stacked like dominos. The other sections were a mess. The logger was pretty pizzed...
