Most know we keep it really warm in our house in winter months. Typically around 80 degrees. But last night I goofed. For some reason I thought it was supposed to get colder than it did. It only got down to around 38. I got up around 2:00 pm and was roasting. Checked the stove and it was fine but giving too much heat. It was 92! Not good sleeping temperature for sure. Problem? I put one too many splits in the stove. Such a simple thing....

You know your stove & set up really well.
You got the temperature regulation figured out.

Takes a few years but I'm getting better at temperature control all the time .
39° here today, hard for me to not overheat,
but it's easy to open a few doors & let some fresh air in. :)

I couldn't get my house to 92 if I was burning plutonium.

Holy Moly! For sure 92f is way too hot! Might as well have gotten a few cedar boughs and had at it!

Wow Sav......I'd have every window in the house open if the temps in here hit the 80° mark.....I keep it between 70-74° all winter.....that's plenty warm for us.

And yes, she still sheds clothing at those temps....;)
