I didn't realize how bad I felt until I got better. Take it easy for a few weeks.

I must be extra sensitive, I almost always feel the ticks crawling on me. The last time I had one bite in I was a kid. Heck, I pet my dog enough that I typically find them long before they start to grow and turn from brown to tan.

This spring a girl I work with was talking to me in my office and started scratching her head, and I saw a tick come flying out and land on the floor. She freaked out, asked for me to put it in a ziplock, had me check her hair for more, and left work early to go to the doctor and have the tick tested. Keep in mind the tick never even bit her, it was just crawling through her hair. I was kind of glad when she left the company...the drama went WAY down.

They're real bad here, have to lay light colored blankets on the couches just so they're easier to spot. Between the dog and us walking on trails it's not uncommon for us to find 2-4 per day in the house or on us. They go straight into the stove. Nightly checks are routine too.

One of our trails is also a fav for our deer. And chipmunks. And red squirrels. And Gizmo... she has a tick collar on and the only time she's had one on her (that I found) was right at the end of the collar's effective life. Always possible she had one ride in on her and it jumped off on me. She's always rubbing/rolling around my legs when I'm sitting down. Maybe Sawyer's makes a soap and deodorant that'll kill ticks... ;)

There must have been a hatch of ticks around the house, there are little ticks everywhere! I have been giving the dogs an extra long pet checking for ticks, I usually don't give them flea and tick this time of year. It got so bad I was pulling several ticks off each dog everyday, I decided to buy some tick juice! I'm itching now thinking about it, thanks!

I keep a large yard around my house cut pretty short. I hope this helps. The dogs seam to get ticks when they get out of the fenced in yard and run like, well, crazy dogs through the woods and grass. Dam crazy dogs.

I'm fine. The rash is still expanding a bit but doesn't hurt. Started the Anti Bs yesterday. Sittin' here with my headphones on listening to music off YouTube. Have to be careful...;) I get into it so much, hours seem like minutes, and it'll be after midnight. Love it. Amazing to be able to find any concerts or videos from anyone.

Thx fer checkin on me ole buddy... :)

Oh boy, tick bites suck! The doctors I saw messed up badly, put me on the wrong antibiotic and didn't draw the right blood test. I got sicker and sicker. My rash got boiling hot and I was in horrid pain. Saw my doctor when he got back. He did the test and put me on the right med. test came back Lyme's positive. After the round of antibiotics, it flared back up so I went back on the antibotic again. That cleared up the football size cellulitis. I have a bad dose of arthritis now. Can't prove the tick caused it, but also cannot prove it didn't. Don't skip your doses of meds. They can be rough on your gut, but better that the ridsidual of Lyme's.

Had a bout with diverticulitis a few years back and the AntiBs I had to take did that number on my old pipes for over a month. Am hoping what I'm taking now does the trick to deal with this bite, but doesn't start the pipes from hell again.

Hope all is well Stinny. Get some rest and relaxation for a few days. Drink plenty of water and the like to keep properly hydrated.

AntiBs are apparently working, 3 more days. Rash is fading fast and is almost gone. Thankfully, no side effects either. As far as Lyme goes, I don't seem to have any added issues... so far so good. Thx WW.
