Thank you and I would happily join your group of Basement Dwellers, I spend a lot of time down there in the winter and cold beers are a must down there. At least this year it's going to be warm so I'll need MORE cold beers.... :drunk:

With the Fireview upstairs, how much heat are you relying on from the P61?

Or is the P61 just for basement/shop heat and some residual upstairs?

Yes the P61A is just for the cellar and some heat for the floors. The stove is directly under my sons room and i have another son down cellar in a finished room.

Be sure to try the stove in Stove Mode as well. I run my stove that way when I'm home, Room Temp at night and at work. I don't like room temp this time of year because my stove will run for hours with the distribution blower off. Seems like a waste of money to me.

I'm burning the Barefoots now and so far so good, but being my first year burning I have nothing to compare them to. My wife stole my spot on the recliner next to my woodstove, she loves that thing! :D

I have two dogs and they fight over the spot right in front of the stove! If the male dog is lying in front of the stove, the female will walk over and lay right on him until he moves so she can have the best spot...... o_O

I need to try another setting, looks like I'm burning about 1-1/2 to 2 bags a day with it on "Room Temp" set at 75° and feed at 3-1/2. I'd like to keep it to a bag a day, I won't mind 2 bags a day in the dead of winter to keep it nice and warm but no need for that now.

75 is toasty. I'm set at 70 in room-temp auto and I throw a bag in before I go to bed. Feed is at 3 1/2. I'll be switching to manual soon.
