Good time to be burning, coming up. I'm not a weather enthusiast - are terms like 'polar vortex' and 'arctic outbreak' anything more than a fancy way to say 'cold snap'?
New and improved phrases make for a better show. I think they've all hired marketing pros to spice things up.
The Weather Channel has become little more than a Hype Machine in recent years. They keep introducing pathetic gimmicks (e.g. naming winter storms) in order to maintain viewership.
