Nice looking stack. Impressive. Being in Alaska you don't top cover? Looks like mostly poplar. How long does it take to season with 6 months of the year being in darkness?
Thanks bigbar CMBD spots on the white bark. LIB, MR Birch splits, LOL Thanks Alaska birch, some say 1 year, I season for 3 years. Strong Winter wind location , It stays in the stack 10 months , then to the wood shed, in August . Stays in the shed 2 years before burned.
Dave, enjoy what you have because it won't get any easier from now on. Sad, but I've had to face that one big time in this last year.
Yea I'm digging what your knowing. Hoping to be like a fine wine, get better with age, Fingers are still stiff from splitting & stacking in the cold. Maybe we both need to head south, We'd have enough wood to last 30+ years in Florida.

Rookie, don't you know that positioned that way, as they dry, they'll bring it back in line. I tried you laser trick batteris died before I was done I love the 2 dimensional pictures , makes my stack look almost as good as yours.
+1 But need to come back for the summer, no way I could handle the 100° stuff Hawaii type climate would be perfect. Dreaming !
